Self confidence is the opinions, thoughts and feelings you have about yourself and possibly something you would have learnt at a young age. Sometimes we don’t see things as they actually are, we see things as we are and that’s a problem. We base things on our internal thoughts, without even questioning if they are true or real. 

You have your own internal view of yourself and it’s generally very different to how others would see you.  Imagine if I gave you a menu and all you could see was the entrée list, in your mind that is the menu, no questions asked.  When in reality, there is a lot more to the menu, you just aren’t seeing it. 

Your inner critical voice has been with you for so long; listening to it is as natural as your heart beating.  It passes judgment on you and others, influencing how see yourself. 

Even people with a healthy self-esteem have a critical voice, the difference with them is that they don’t give that voice any air-time and you don’t have to either.

With hypnotherapy, you can silence that voice and the critical thoughts you have been listening to, allowing yourself to recognise that you are much more than you think you are.
